FTP

You must open the ftp port in the zope config and restart. (Tell Ben because of firewall issues) Had trouble setting this up with Teraterm ssftp.  Works great with WS-FTP need to figure out the settings for teraterm since we don't have a wsftp license.

Reflecto

This works ok as long as you do not care about the items being plone content.  I'm having trouble getting it to honor the mimetypes. txt is ok,  but html no.  Does not seem to index text for searches even though reflectofile is checked in search.

WebDAV

Have yet to try this

FileSystemStorage,etc

FSS has lots of dependencies, too much of a pain to install, but probably will need to look into it.
ExternalFile not yet released for p3
Plone4Artists has something too.
