Working with the Faculty Staff Directory
Weblion's FacultyStaffDirectory Product can produce contact information for Faculty, Staff, and Students. You can assign individuals various Classifications, Committee/Department membership and Specialties.
Overview
This feature will allow you to add a FacultyStaffDirectory (FSD) folder to your site. This folder can hold 'Person' objects, 'Classification' objects, 'Committee' objects or 'Specialty' objects. These objects allow you to display personnel in various ways automatically.Defining Main Classifications
FSD provides three main Classifications on installation: Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Student. You can add any number of Classifications to your directory by navigating to the FSD folder Add Item-->Classification. Provide a title. You can add Persons objects to the classification at any time. A Person can appear in more than one category. When you access the FSD, persons in your directory will be listed in alphabetical order within each Classification. You can change the order of the Classifications by going into folder view for the FSD and arranging the Classification objects.Defining Committees
