PRI printing services
For faculty
We can print posters and charge your grant or departmental budget at any time, though you may find it more efficient to work directly with a printing service.
For the Population Association of America (PAA) meetings
If you are a PRI faculty associate or affiliate or a student in the Demography program presenting a poster at the PAA annual meetings, you may print your poster through PRI.
Important dates for 2009:
April 1 – Notify Tara Murray that you will be printing a PAA poster through PRI
April 22 – Deliver all poster files to Tara Murray
How to submit your poster files
If you are printing your poster through PRI, submit your poster to Tara Murray in the Information Core. Send your original PowerPoint or Illustrator file (please zip the file or bring it on a USB drive or CD-ROM if the file is very large). Design your poster to be no more than 40 inches high.
You will be notified when your poster has been printed and is available for pickup. Please remember to plan ahead and initiate the printing process as early as possible.
Note for Illustrator users
If you are using Illustrator to prepare your poster and you have placed graphics on your poster, please make sure the graphics files are embedded before you submit your poster or the graphics will not print.
For instructions on how to embed graphics files in Illustrator, please see the handout Creating a Poster in Adobe Illustrator.
