How to deposit a manuscript in PubMed Central
Be sure to adhere to the conditions of the publication or copyright
agreement you sign. You can specify an embargo period of up to 12
months after publication when you deposit your manuscript.
Normally you deposit the final peer-reviewed manuscript - your final manuscript including modifications resulting from the peer review process but not copyediting or formatting by the publisher - but you may in some cases be permitted to deposit the final published article.
You may deposit the manuscript yourself using the NIH Manuscript Submission System, or use the PRI Information Core's manuscript submission service.
Finally, find out how to cite your article.
