Data Cleaning Techniques by Ron Cody

One of the first and most important steps in any data processing task is to verify that your data values are correct or, at the very least, conform to some a set of rules. For example, a variable called GENDER would be expected to have only two values; a variable representing height in inches would be expected to be within reasonable limits. Learn basic ways to help identify invalid character and numeric data values, using SAS software.
